Is Rodan and Fields over?

They are all doing the weight loss Optiva thing I think.

I feel like MLMs in general have died down a little, but I'm getting more requests to follow "lifestyle influencer" pages and to follow "Poshmark closets" (and buy PM stuff).

I grew up in a pretty conservative area, lots of Mormons.

Is this a common phrase #mombosses use? One girl I know who sells R+F always says she’s going to “retire DH early” and I’ve never heard retire as a verb in that sense before (retiring another person that is). Maybe this is part of their recruitment material.

You must be one of those people MLMs pay to find negative comments about the products and companies on message boards. And it's not about the products it's about the fact that MLMs are a SCAM.

It totally is, just like they tag their husbands on social media stuff to increase reach. SO TRANSPARENT.

omg, this seriously nice person i know is doing opativa. so so so annoying.
we have a lot of mutual friends and all her 'normal' posts about her life get likes/comments from all the people i know. of the inspirational and optavia stuff, it is like 90%+ other optavia people leaving comments like 'you go girl, so inspiring.'

The whole Momboss thing irks me. Where is all the support and cheerleading for average women like me who re-entered the workforce or simply are successful in their careers?

What about Juice Plus? Someone I know I has been trying to sell this to me for years- feigning concern over my kids’ nutrition as she sees that my daughter doesn’t like vegetables. So freaking annoying.

A few have sent emails inviting me to Beauty Counter and Color Street. Give it time, they will find a new MLM.

A few of my friends have started in on the coffee thing - Happy Coffee or something? A good friend of mine moved to GA and started teaching spin class, eating better, and exercising, but claims all of the effects are from her #happycoffee!

My best friend is finally FINALLY seeing the light and quitting Arbonne for good after 10 years trying to make it work.

My hope is that the anti-MLM attitude is taking hold and becoming more mainstream. With Facebook groups and memes deriding “hunbots” and more in-depth journalism like The Dream podcast that delve into why and how these companies exploit women, it seems like everyone is starting to agree that it’s a joke.

I see the coffee on my feed too — “magic coffee” — with no information and “DM me!”. My friends in the Midwest are starting to become “The FASTer way” coaches, I haven’t seen anything from local friends. So maybe that MLM is striking the Midwest first with their IF coaching or it is just a coincidence?

Less R&F but more EVER.

I'm seeing R+F folks switching over to that toothpaste that cannot be named on social media. (AP24?)

Jamberry shut down awhile ago. Wildtree (spices & cooking stuff) is going out of business now.

Seeing much less LuLaRoe lately, thankfully. MLMs are awful.

Everyone I know who did LulaRoe had to liquidate at quite a loss.
