You can't really spell a word in Cyrillic on an English keyboard and say this it the Russian word. The fact that there are Russian letters that look like C and P, doesn't mean they are actually C's and P. |
This is also so regionally specific to an accent. Cera is only even somewhat similar to Sarah if you pronounce Aaron and Erin the same as well as Marry/Merry/Mary. As someone from the NE, I wouldn't have those closed "a's" required to make them all that similar. Cera- Seh-rah Sarah- Sahr-rah Cara- Ka-Rah |
Stupid and silly. |
Ciara is an Irish name (Key-rah) that is pronounced more phonetically in the USA so I wouldn't go for that if OP wants a Sarah pronunciation. Op if you want to call her Sarah, call her Sarah. If you want a C name, find a C name that you like. Don't mash the two together because it's going to be a pain to constantly correct spelling and pronunciation. |
|
If you want to name her Sarah, spell it like this:
S-A-R-A-H If you want to spell it some other way, name her something else. (non)Problem solved! |
|
Cera will be pronounced SEER-uh and not SAHR-uh. Cara is pronounced KARE-uh or KAHR-uh.
OP you cannot do this. |
| Cerah (pronounced Sa-ruh) |
| Czsara |
|
Czara
But why would you want to do this? |
| Csssarah |
| if op spends this much time and effort raising the dang kid, the kid will turn out fine in life but somehow i doubt that |
Me too! OP, please stick to Sarah or pick another name. |
|
lol! This is the best thread in a long time. Made me laugh out loud. Clicked on it because I have a daughter named Sarah. Spelled Sarah. No one has ever asked her how to pronounce her name.
