Your first statement was negative. You said the goal “wasn’t” nice. Then someone else said,”enjoy it while it lasts”. Those are both negative comments. Also, as someone who has played, watched, and coached soccer for years and understands what it takes to score at a very competitive level, the goal was great. I could try to explain but it would be lost on you. |
| It’s not negative. It’s a matter of opinion that is relative to whoever is saying it and their preferences. Telling someone they know nothing? Now that’s negative. |
| I’ve also watched (lol), played, and coached soccer for years. What are we comparing sizes now? Grow up |
| I do agree with you that the “enjoy it while it lasts” comment doesn’t make sense. Complete killjoy, and unable to commend our boys for a monumental effort. |
Let's have a proper prospective. It is a great win, but this group of players needs to win the next three games for this win to matter. The farther we advance in the tournament, the more attention these players will get from the pro scouts and more doors will open for them in their pro careers. |
Many already have doors open, but yes that would help even further. Not sure about all three games, but at least one more. Semis would be nice at least. |
| Do you guys think Llanez has shown enough to earn a start? He could be very useful against a team like Ecuador. |
| The run has come to the end. Ecuador advanced at our expense. It was a good tournament for the team. Beating France was nice, but this loss hurts a bit. |
Hard to say in retrospect. He didn't do that much, though was more dangerous than Konrad. I just really wish Tab had gone with the same midfield we had v. France due to cards. Both Durkin and Mendez were very disappointing. I'm starting to see what makes Weah and Dest special. Thought Pomykal was our best player throughout. |
| Ecuador were very good. Servania instead of Durkin would’ve helped. |
| Yes, Servania instead of Durkin would have been my choice. |
| The final is Ukraine v Korea, which beat Italy and Ecuador in semis. |
