Again, not all women - regardless of where they fall on the fertility spectrum - are threatened by young, beautiful women.

Though I will add I am on the team that’s a big age gap for her phase of life. At 24 I thought a 35-year-old was pretty ancient.

You could also say it's just an extension of the patriarchy - when women weren't allowed to work or own property and their husbands were entirely responsible for their care it made sense that the man was financially well-established - i.e. - older.
