Or truth.

I think that the only people that use teen bopper are over 70, so I can see why her music style wouldn’t resonate with you.

She got a lot of flak for Reputation too, as it was so different than her expected. It turned out to be a wildly successful album and tour. She knows how to work the machine. You’ll be humming the song while you do your jigsaw puzzles come June.

No, I liked Reputation - it really played to her strengths and seemed to be a natural progression from Bad Blood/1989.

This video however feels like she’s targeting the BabyShark demographic.

I shall experience this Taylor Swift song, as I experience all Taylor Swift Songs:
1st listen : meh. Don’t love it
2nd listen: it’s fine. Don’t hate it
3rd listen: unwittingly singing along to chorus
4th listen: turn up volume in car
5th listen: dancing in kitchen making dinner
6th listen: executing choreography from last time I listened in kitchen
7th listen: start thinking “I could totally nail this song at Rockit Bar after 3 beers.”
8th listen: “should I wear red lipstick? Like reeeeally red? Could I make that work?”
9th listen: “who is Taylor Swift dating now?”
10th listen: purchased on iTunes

I like it! DD loves it, she's a huge Taylor Swift fan. I like how the snake turns into butterflies in the beginning.

+1 I love her, but I felt a little embarrassed for her after watching this.

Fun!

Where you embarrassed for the theatre kids in high school? Just curious.

You mean the ones in High School Musical? Vanessa Hudgens was 16 when she landed the lead role so the music and outfits were perfectly appropriate. Very different from a 30-year-Old starring in Candyland 2.0.

No. I mean how did you feel about drama kids while you were in high school? Were you embarrassed for them? I’m not trying to start a fight here, just genuinely wondering.
Also- how do you feel about the movie “Amelie”?
