Do you blatantly curse in front of your teen?

Anonymous
Unfortunately, yes. A lot. In my defense, I grew up speaking a couple of different languages that have much better curse words than English, so to me cursing in English is... next to nothing, and I never curse in my native language (waaay too crude). Yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds.

I try to not do it in front of their friends though. Also, my kids don't curse - in fact, when I do, they remind me not to ("language!").

Same. It's not an issue with us either.

I have never cursed in front of my kids, and my oldest is 16. I curse a blue streak at work because it's the culture but I turn it off at home. I rarely curse in front of my husband either.

No. But I’m not really a curser in general. It sounds ridiculous coming out of my mouth. I have literally never heard my parents curse. Not one time. My kids are young adults. They don’t curse around me, but I’m sure they do when they are with friends.

I curse in front of my kids’ friends and their parents. Seriously, it’s not a big deal.
