Do you have married friends where you suspect one is cheating on the other?

FIFY.

11:53 Here. Haha Yup.

I've read that women cheat in higher numbers than men do. I think married women who TRULY don't want the drama of getting caught (as opposed to a woman who subconsciously wants to blow up her marriage and is having an exit affair), don't get caught that often.

I've never read that. I think they are a growing demographic, but men still cheat more often.

+1 This.

And sometimes, these couples are the ones out doing stuff all the time. You know, they're always hosting the 4th of July BBQ, and they're always the first ones out at the pumpkin patch in the fall...

If you look closely, many of them are just not that into each other. They're always doing things in parallel at their own events, but they're rarely actually interacting.

And everyone is SO stunned when couples like this go south, or someone cheats or whatever. When this happens, I'm polite and pretend to be shocked, too.

Maybe everybody is pretending. Or maybe nobody else actually is that nosy?

I had a married friend and I was convinced that her husband was cheating on her. It turns out both of them were cheating for years. I guess you never know.
