How much would you pay for a skirt?

Gross. Unlined skirts in the winter. Why don't you just take your $30.00, wipe your ass with it, and flush it. Or better, wipe your ass with the skirt and flush it. It won't last much longer than that, anyway.

Wow, get angry much?

Obviously how much you can spend on clothes is totally dependent on your income/expenses, so the dollar amount is irrelevant.

I can justify "splurge" under two circumstances. The first is if the cost per wear value of the item is good. I can justify spending a lot on a beautiful quality item if I can use it a lot. An example would be a great, versatile pair of boots or a fabulous coat. The other time I might do so is if I have some big or important event and find the perfect item that I love, love love. In that case, I will buy it even if I suspect I may never wear it again. If and when I am ever nominated for an Academy Award, I will definitely drop some cash.

Don't the Academy Award nominees get their outfits and jewelry for free, and just for one night? I might be mistaken, though.
