I do not even have kids and your post made me cry!

You are a terrific writer and I could just picture the whole thing so vividly in my mind - the trophies, the kids sitting around you . . .

I was lucky enough to have a few teachers/professors like you and I am so grateful.

You are a treasure to your students and their parents, I am sure!

Thank you, OP. There's a whole world we send our kids off to every morning and don't know much of what goes on there. I can only hope my kids have teachers just like you.
