Did you send your first choice school a letter?

I WISH ALL OF YOU THE VERY BEST IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I WENT THROUGH THIS PROCESS LAST YEAR AND THE LAST WEEK IS THE WORST WHEN WAITING. I HOPE YOU ALL GET YOUR FIRST CHOICES AND IF YOU DON'T, CHIN UP, YOUR CHILDREN WILL TURN OUT FINE.

Well let us know how it goes. Good luck. I think you'll hear from Sidwell and Maret tomorrow.

We are hopefully and confident something postive will happen But not sure cute letters written by DC is enough to clinch a space; the application pool is so competitive.

All the children are unique and talented in their own way and regardless of what happens when those letters arrive in the mail it is not a reflection of my child or anyone elses. They are all perfect in their own way - I pray that each of you remember that when the envelopes arrive.

Good Night and Good Luck

Yes, of course, but remember that the topic here is sending letters to first-choice schools. Therefore that's why thank you notes from children is part of our discussion. I think it's a lovely idea. BTW, I'm not sure how praying is relevant here - you wrote a very odd post.

Good night to you too - get some sleep.

My post was not odd. I was saying although DC wrote thank - you notes it may not be helpful in the admissions process; we just thought it was a great way to express how much DC liked schools.

As for praying being relevant - in our home prayer is at the fore front of all we do and my prayer was one I thought I would share with others just to put the whole admissions process into perspective
