Has anyone used the laundry service SudShare?

I’m a SudShare contractor. I realize this is an old thread but I thought I may shed some light on comments.

We are not required to take anything we do not feel comfortable taking. Rat infested bag? I’d return it back in a second. Not to mention…. Why on earth would you give us a rat infested bag? To test us? That’s not only insane I think you’re lying.
Scary house in the dark. Nope I would not do it. Again. Not required to. If you decide to, that’s on you. No ones setting you up to be kidnapped. If you don’t feel safe, don’t go.

Bedbugs etc. don’t you think we worry about that too? Why would I want to take that into my home? I check for that stuff. Just because I do your laundry doesn’t make me an idiot or unclean. I like being home with my family and making extra cash for vacations etc.

Like any delivery service you get good and bad workers. Average cost is about $40. If you like specific workers you can request them again. Please tip we do not get compensated for gas and only see .75 of that $1 you are paying.

What do you do with skid marked undies? How do you get the stains out? Or socks that are like rock solid bc of teenage boys?

Stay away from these amateurs. Yes- - random people doing your laundry in their homes. So imagine what happened when my white pair of jeans was returned by Ramona, the 'sudster' staine blue? she OUTRIGHT LIED that they were like that when she picked them up. Liar! Karma is going to get you.

The idea of your laundry being done in an environment with no supervision so it's the 'sudsters' word against yours - good luck! It sounds like a good idea until you get dishonest people like Ramona and this company who believe them. They claim to have insurance but what am I supposed to do to prove that my jeans where not stained when I sent them out? I'm going back to a regular cleaner even if I have to pay a little more.

What you are supposed to do is move on like any mentally stable adult. I get it was frustrating but there’s no point in becoming unhinged. I had a great experience with Sudshare and no issues whatsoever. I was also wise enough to hold onto my delicates rather than take the chance of a mishap. Life is all about calculations PP. You miscalculated and had a bad apple on top of that.

They charge $1 per pound. I'm considering trying it because we spend SO MUCH time doing laundry on the weekend that could be used for other stuff. Anyone have any experience with it?

Since there are so many sketchy stories that have surfaced about this company, may I suggest you just do one load each evening? No need to give up your weekend.

SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE SAID THIS OVER THE YEARS, My front load washer takes over an hour to wash, I'm often home at 9pm or later, I get up at 5:45 to take kids to school. Then to work. Often working 6 days. If I could manage to quit sleeping, then yeah, I could manage doing laundry at night, however, I can't and so our laundry gets done in bulk waves on weekends. This service is a HUGE Godsend for us!

I would look into a professional service like Happy Nest. Many dry cleaners also provide laundry services. Also, some cleaning services provide this as well, then everything is done in your home.

Sudshare, don't do it!!
I have put in several requests for reimbursement for my missing items and now I have to add damaged sheets. I had a wash completed in Atlanta a few weeks ago and just used the sheet set today that was washed then. I am missing the top to one of my outfits, a sock purchased, and my king sheet set has brown stains all over it. My first wash smelled horribly like food, so they asked me to let them repeat the wash with a different sudster that resulted in missing items and destroyed sheets. I am not happy with the service or the company. I will not recommend this company to be used by anyone nation wide; I'm very disappointed and upset about my items. The reimbursement process is almost impossible, so there's no way to even get rectification that way. I'm at a major loss.

Thankfully I started working from home and laundry time serves as a nice break from stressful work. My LG washer takes only 45 minutes. I do one load a day for a family of 5.

I was looking into it as my last wash/dry/fold has sent back still dirty clothes at least 1/2 of the time. He did redo a load of towels in the beginning, but last time my load to be rehashed 'went missing' in the 20 mins between me seeing it and the pick up.
Anyway, I thought about trying this, then realized it is at people's houses. I worry about sanitary issues and bugs
Has anyone found this is an issue?

SCAM. They don't let you use gift cards without putting a hold on your real funds. I am disabled and have over $100 in gift cards I can't use because when I try to place my order, they try to charge my debit card for real money I don't have.

It does not matter in the least that this is "just a pending hold" that falls off later. With that much in guaranteed funding via the gift cards, they should not even touch my debit/credit card, and it's deeply unethical to even sell gift cards with this unspoken requirement. No honest business would ever hold your real money hostage in order to accept their own gift cards.

I LOVE Sudshare. In my complex, the laundry room is over a block away. Walk once, put the laundry in, walk home. Walk back, put the laundry into the dryer, walk home. Walk to pick up clean clothes. Walk home!! Too much walking. I have used Sudshare for a while. Leave my dirty clothes outside. It comes back clean & folded in plastic bags. You can pick someone you like to do your laundry. I have never had a problem.
Amazingly wonderful!!

I used them. Their contractor stole most of mine, and my sons clothes. They said theur contractor had a great record. That dies nit change the fact he stole out clothes. They tried to give me a $200 credit to be used only with Sudshare. Why would I trust this company again? What would I use them again. The contractor gave me a bad vibe. My sister in law said "it'll be fine" ut was not. I asked them if they ran a criminal background on these contractors they send to our homes. They never answered that question. These people do laundry in their homes and are to bring it back. They aren't even their employees. These contractors can take whatever they want and we get a credit to the company who sent them. We get charged to get robed. They ask the same questions hoping to get you confused. You can't confuse someone who is not lying. Theur contractor just flat out lied. The company too. Check BBB. Is everybody but the contractors, whom I say no backgrounds are run, lying? I don't think so. The only lies told were by the contractor, then they jumped on board and made him look a Saint. Shame on them
