Just found that my Fifth ivf also failed

I am very sorry, OP. Presuming you’ve done all types of testing (genetic, blood clotting disease, killer cells test, etc) and ERAs and ESs, my thought is, and I hope this doesn’t sound insensitive, that you’re just not yet on the right side of the success curve.

If you can financially and emotionally afford to do so, I would absolutely do one more egg retrieval cycle. Depending on how many embryos you wind up with, you should consider trying a different approach. You could do a fresh transfer with an untested embryo(s) and also send some for PGS testing to be used for later FETs. It is just one data point, but after a number of failed FETs I had success with a fresh transfer. Untested. Day 3. Basically, what a lot of doctors say probably won’t result in a baby... yet it did, when other things that were “textbook” for success wound up as fails for me. I think everything through, but in the meantime, please be kind to yourself. All of us here understand what you’re going through. Keep posting, OK? Big virtual hugs going out to you.

OP, do you have a partner? How is he/she handling the news? This is a time to lean on one another or these defeats could tear you apart. May I ask how old you are?

I'm so sorry, OP. I have been where you are. We went through five too (four fresh, one frozen transfer), and none took. And then we went through years of adoption wilderness. But we did end up adopting an amazing newborn baby who is now an amazing little boy. That may not be what you want or need to hear right now, though. In any case I'm sending you lots of sympathy; it really just sucks.
