If you’ve never visited, I recommend every guy visit there at some point. It is truly an icon.

I searched for ASU on Instagram and this is literally the second thing that popped up. The talent at ASU is dumb as rocks, but hey there’s this:

The caption on her posting reads “Gonna risk it all and transfer to ASU”

Someone here really wants to justify their 75,000 college. I guess those that transfer in junior year from a state school or community college, and get the same degree as Larla are idiots too. But outside of your little DCUM “keeping up with the Jone’s” circle - no one really cares or has even heard of some of the top SLAC’s your kid is going to.

And trying to demean and post another girl’s picture to make your point is being a bully, and you don’t even realize it. How insecure can you be?

I've "heard of" ASU. What I heard is that it's open enrollment pretty much, and famous for hot girls. Academically, not so much.

Yes, I hear engineers makes 10x less than other engineers because it is only ASU

I bet employers just shred or delete any ASU resumes too.

Professors at ASU don’t have degrees and can not teach. Kids are self taught.

99% of all ASU grads are unemployed

Yes, PP, ASU grads go on to live average lives with their average degree, plenty of grunt level engineers in their ranks--what's your point?

Yes and USC is #3 and UCLA is #4 on that list.

Tulane #1 party school
Columbia #1 suicides
Brown #1 rapes
Williams #1 drugs
Harvard #1 curved grades
USC #1 bribed students?

What is your point PP?

So you are saying all ASU grads only live average lives because they went to ASU? Newsflash: The majority of America and 99% of the ones that don't have a silver spoon from birth live average lives. Life without corruption, lies and deceit too. But go ahead and bash this school and all the other "average schools" and "averages grunts" to make yourself feel better.

Pretty much everyone I know who went there ended up dropping out due to drugs and partying. It was as bad as UC Santa Barbara, but without the solid academics.

Maybe they’ve tried to fix these issues, I have no idea. But it has a bad reputation for many years. The school was also a major hub of drug activity and trafficking

Meh. I went to ASU and the vast majority of the students never had anything to do with that scene.

In this article, they talk at length about how their goal is not to become exclusive, it’s to make a solid education accessible to many people and not just turn people away for the sake of make themselves look exclusive (cough Tulane. Cough Northeastern).

This is a worthy goal, and certainly achievable for ASU.

Not everywhere can be Harvard, or should aspire to be.
