I am so done with Instacart

It drives me nuts because you can't get any of the store deals.

The instacart shoppers I see at Wegmans don’t GAF. At all.

I used to call Instacart "slightly better than sending your husband to the store." Switched to Amazon Fresh. I love grocery delivery!! I still use Instacart for emergencies!!

Use it weekly+ and it’s terrific. We are in MoCo. I do take the time to assign replacement choices and text with my shopper in real time.

I've been using Instacart for a few months now and have had a fantastic experience. Saves me at least 90 mins a week and makes my life easier.

Tonight I order 1 head of garlic and wound up with a pound. What do I do with 6 heads of garlic?

Same here but with grapes. What do I do with one million grapes?

Anonymous wrote:At least I'm done with the Instacart in my neck of the woods (Rockville). I feel like Charlie Brown with the football -- why do I keep paying the premium (and tipping generously) when every single time they mess up my order? And don't bother to contact me while they're shopping, so that I only know that the order is incomplete when it's delivered? When I get the wrong items that aren't what I ordered? When I marked acceptable substitutes but those don't show up either?

Instacart, we are done. It's not me, it's you.

Au contraire, we have had great experiences with them, and use the service regularly.

Not sure why you've had such negative experiences, I hope it gets better.

I used to love instacart for Whole Foods, which they did not mark up. Every so often I'd get a bad shopper who seemed to claim there was nothing in the store, but usually it was fine. Worst was subbing a head of iceberg lettuce for cabbage ...

Awesome experience here also. Switched from Harris Teeter express lane and could not be happier.

Freeze them! They are so good frozen; like candy.

Fresh Direct is much better. I have tried them all, it is worth it.

Sometimes I think the shoppers are just f’ing with me.

I put avocados on and they contacted me to see if guacamole was fine instead.

I put limes and they substitute with oranges??

Fresh parsley becomes cilantro or basil upon delivery.

Absolutely ridiculous that an adult can't follow basic, the most basic instruction. Why am I getting double items when it's clearly states 1 item ,not 2. So sick of these imbeciles messing up my order, then acting cavalier about it. Instacart won't get another dime from me. I'm deactivating my account. For good.

Just had this happen. And kids put away the groceries so didn’t notice for days. Felt like it was too late to complain. I have also noticed many more mistakes lately.

I do only get it from Wegmans where produce quality is good. Otherwise they do seem to search for bad produce.
