Letter of recommendation from a teacher that doesn't relate to your kid?

I really think that the philosophy and implementation can be a HORRIBLE fit for some kids (not a fan in general, but it may be great for some). I know of a few families where they have moved their kids to several Montessori schools due to an attachment to the philosophy - the kids did much better in a less "directed" environment eventually, but before that they suffered through several pretty bad school experiences. Waldorf is another one that might seem less rigid due to "looking" different than a typical preschool.
