Help me decide on a car!

I had a 2007 Prius. Loved it and last year upgraded to Prius V. Doesn’t have as good mpg as the Prius, but still get around 36-40 mpg depending on how cold it is and how much city driving I do.

My Prius was so perfect I miss it still 6 years after trading it in for a large suv. It was amazing and ran like new every day for years.

OP here and thank you everyone. I think I'm going to get the new AWD Prius. You just can't beat Toyota's reliability. I actually just read an article from consumer reports talking about Honda's reliability falling in rank.

I love love love Corolla. Had two of them, never a problem.

I can’t take seriously an adult who drives a small economy car.

I’m not speaking of an 18 year old, or even a younger adult fresh out of undergrad or post grad. I’m speaking of someone in their 30’s or older.

If you’re 32 and still driving an econobox, it basically announces to the world that you have done much with your Masters in Theatre and Puppetry.

Getting good gas mileage is important to me and the Forester is larger than I would like.

A Forester is too BIG for you!?!?

Is that sarcasm ?

Forester poster here. I do mostly city driving and so far I’m getting 20 mpg. I fill up every 2 weeks.

Lol! Awesome wit my friend. Others will pipe up to disagree with you and give a contrasting anecdote, but overall, you nailed it.

Or it shows that they refuse to compete in the rat race and would rather spend their money on other things rather than a fancy overly priced car. Who are you trying to impress?

I can't take seriously anyone who judges someone based on what kind of car they drive. You remind me of my blowhard uncle who makes $110k/year living in Wisconsin and thinks he's a big shot.

Well, at least your uncle probably thinks enough of himself to not drive a Yarris. So at least he’s got that going for him.
