Surely you can see how this is not the same thing at all. |

+1. Love the name Nell. Bea is cute too I just like Nell a bit better. |
| I know a Nell whose full name is Helen so it could also be a nn for that. I love the name Nell! |
Agree! |
Why isn't it, and even if it isn't, how does that matter? |
| I know a Nell and a Bea and think they are both adorable names. I have a slight preference for Bea. |
| My cousin has a Bea (Beatrice) but I’m partial to Nell because it was my grandmother’s name (her mother was Nellie). |
| They are both bad. You need to start over. The names you chose are old and tired sounding. I would not saddle a child with either. |
Have you heard of the website DCUM? |

I like Nell, and I love the PP's suggestion of Janella (or I like Janelle even better) for a full name.
It's also nice as a nn for Eleanor. I love a lot of the other suggestions people have made, especially Tess and Jane. |
| I've never warmed up to Beatrice. But how about Bea as a nickname for Belinda or Bridget or Brenna …? |
| Nell. How cute!!! |
That sounds more like a name with the nickname of Jan - and it’s just not very pleasant. Janelle? Nah. Janice - Jan Eleanor or Nellie - Nell |
Or Germany. But it’s mostly to keep morons from naming their kid ‘Adolf’ or ‘Mein Fuhrer’. We should have the name Police here to keep people from naming their kid ‘Donald’ or ‘The Orange Fuhrer’ |
