Dating someone on medication for depression

I'd avoid anyone with depression or ADHD issues. Marriage is hard enough without those kinds of pressures. Sadly, it seems to really narrow the playing field.

I wouldn’t do it. These are heavy psychiatric drugs, even though the medical industry tries to make them appear “normal” they are very different than true medicines for physical diseases. They also tend to be addictive and hard to get off of.



My Zoloft is not addictive. I have no urge or compulsion to take. I continue to take it because when I tried to wean off, the anxiety and depression returned.
