H1N1 Vaccines in NoVa?

The Arlington Clinic was at least a 1.5 hour wait this morning, a total zoo, and I left. It was maybe 20 minutes this afternoon at 3. Don't know if tomorrow will be the same but just FYI.

The age cutoff for now is 24 months and below, no shot. They hope to change that in the future.

Yeah, I have the same question....

I'm pretty sure it's by appointment only. I have one tomorrow morning so I'm happy to report back with any additional information. If you're not close by, I would just try calling first thing tomorrow morning to see about getting an appointment instead of just showing up.

Update on the Arlington clinic: According to the website it is

1) Closed tomorrow, Thursday, all day.

2) Open on Friday, from 8:30 to 1:00 or as long as shots last.

A friend of mine, doctor and new mother, says the mortality rate for pregnant women who get this flue is 1 in 25. Gah.

Completely false. Maybe being a new mother has clouded her ability to vomit out stats. Idiotic to be spreading such panic and false statements from a doctor even!
