How much do we need to save for college?

DC just graduated and it was about $70k/year. So 4 years from now it will likely be more than $70k for private colleges or the top OOS state universities. We had about the same amount saved before DC started, and paid the balance out of income. We have about $50k left for grad school (which obviously won't cover much, but is at least a start). We did very modest spending money, and DC worked each summer for the bulk of spending $.

Currently $80,000/year once we factor in family travel and summer program/internship expenses.
