Changing and washing poop diaper in kitchen sink

Okay but any of the 5 bathrooms would still have required bleaching and cleaning just like the kitchen sink. Unless you’re ok with having a dedicated Poop Tub I guess

No kidding. You flipped out on someone dealing with an emergency poop situation. These situations, when they arise, are unpredictable and people go on instinct. A sink can be cleaned, the person prioritized cleaning the child which should be the most important thing at the time.

He who is not dealing with the poopy diaper should not criticize those who are in it up to their elbows.

I can't imagine getting into a sustained argument with my DH or my DH's MIL or whatever over something that can be solved with a little bit of bleach.

It was so much of a priority that it was dealt with where food is being orepat d instead of the other 5 areas where poop normally goes? Or even the laundry room?

You know that someone, somewhere, has a dedicated Poop Tub.

Wherever you wash the kid, you're going to have to sanitize. It doesn't really matter which sink you use, so long as you clean it afterwards.

I guess I’d rather poop where I poop, wash my hands vs. poop where I prep my food.

This kind of reiterated to me why I like to do dinners and entertain at home, vs. going to other people’s homes. I’m also no longer surprised why other people get the “stomach full a few times a year.

NP here, but isn't it pretty commonplace to do baby baths in the kitchen sink till they are big enough for the tub? Why does this then completely go against common sense? Honestly there are plenty of people on this thread who believe no matter where this clean-up happens, it needs to be sanitized, and might find doing so in the kitchen sink easier...

My point is that in a poop emergency you're not sitting there thinking 'where is it practical for me to dispose of this poop?' you're thinking, 'OMG there's poop everywhere!!!! Must get rid of poop!' <looks frantically around> 'THERE IS A PLACE TO PUT THE POOP' <runs to most readily available poop repository>.
