One difference between this and PennState and the young gymnasts: These were not minors. These were athletes--adults who had the ability to speak up.

It just seems odd to me that they are speaking out now--years after the perp died.

Bigger than money - an election.
Jim Jordan’s opponent has run against him the past two elections. Jordan won handily (something like 68% to 32% in both elections). She is looking for a way to win this time, since she cannot win on her own merits. What better way to swing an election that to create a controversy?

It seems odd that they are speaking out now, after the huge Larry Nassar gymnastics scandal coverage? It doesn't seem odd to me.

+1. DH was a D-1 wrestler. He started going to wrestling camps before he entered puberty, and some of those camps were at universities. I seriously doubt the pervy doctor was checking ID before he tried to check out other stuff.
