Is a mirror over the bed a red flag?

Did he circle the bed over and over after sex because of the smell of your carcass?

My in laws have a mirror spanning the headboard. I was so weirded out the first time I saw it.

My parents had friends with a canopy mirrored bed. I distinctly remember it. satin sheets too. No lie. This was the late 80’s, early 90’s. They had kids our age and we used to go over for big parties all the time.

Gross, but their eyesight is likely not good.

Hm. My fwb has floor mirrors strategically placed next his bed. It's clearly so he can watch multiple angles. I think the ceiling idea is both hot and obvious. Like, I'd be intrigued but also tempted to give a big eye roll

Maybe the guy likes to lay down to check how he looks in his outfits.

Look for the Symbian in the closet or basement

Decide if that is what you want

+1 And this pp and a few others have been eluding to the fact that this person is probably into BDSM. You need to find out what other toys this person already owns and if you're not into that or willing to explore it, you do run. And the time and money invested on a mirrored ceiling is a give away that someone is probably dominant in a way that isn't going to allow for fair negotiations. So if you don't know what you're doing when it comes to kink and BDSM, you have to steer clear of someone with a mirror over the bed. You're missing other clues already.

Mirrors over the bed are unnecessary. There are lots of places mirrors can be placed or used for the same purpose. It tells me this person is lazy in bed and wants to lay on his back while you do all the work. I'm not into that, though I do a lot of work.

It's also not clear in the first post if OP is the person with a mirror or a person dating a person with a mirror.

Well you are not dating him if you have not had sex. You should not worry about dating or having sex with this guy, he is sexually out of your league.

He is in the pro sleaze balls league. Run.

OP hates sex. A mirror would be a great screening test.

I would be excited to have some fun with him! Men always get the better view, this way I could easily see too. I would put one above my bed if my kids wouldn’t notice.

How do you know he put that mirror up there?

We bought a house more than 10 years ago and there are still a lot of questionable aspects that we would love to change but still haven’t.

But you saw the mirror? When? If not a house tour, then perhaps on your back?

Maybe he gets dressed lying in bed..

So there has been a mirror on your bedroom ceiling for over 10 years and you tell people that it belongs to the previous owners and that you just haven't gotten around to taking it down?
Go ahead on, people know what you're saying. Let your freak flag fly!

Yes, he could get dressed and think, I better check how I look lying down before I go out.

You may not be into it but I don't know why it would be a "red flag".
A crackpipe on the nightstand is a red flag, a mirror over the bed may just be a point of incompatibility.
