Bikini Bottoms and C-Section Scar

Mine too. Why the difference?

How do you know where your pubic hair starts? Waxing should make that invisible, right?

Cuz you got fat. Some of us didn't let it all go and we like to enjoy our fine bodies in a cute suit.

Look, clearly her opinion is off base, but why do you need to start the nasty with the fat comments? Can't you agree without sounding like a Heather?

Mine is at the top of where my pubic hair starts but regular cut bikinis show it. My scar looks like DH did the c/s with a hunting knife so I keep it hidden.

Dp. My scar is an inch below where my pubic hair starts. Now I'm curious about other's c section scar placement. Op, do you have any hint of the c section shelf? I do not; however, if my weight goes up, I get a weird fat bump over my scar. I wonder if incision placement plays a role in the shelf/weird fat accumulation situation?

I think so. mine is high, like midway between pubic line and belly button. its mostly faded, OP, this comes down to basically a subtle way we sex shame women or body shame what is normal. we would never say someone should cover an appendix scar, a knee surgery scar, or a million other scars "because they are weird or gross", but when it has to do with lady parts, we have a different reaction. i think that anyone who thinks its gross and "different" is of an older school way of thinking and fortunately fading out!

I am not a fan of the super high-waisted bottoms (they do not flatter my shape), and am very petite so most women's sizes that have slightly more conservative bottoms (Lands End, etc.) do not fit. I used to buy bathing suits at Aerie, Pacific Sunwear, etc., but I am finding that unless bottoms are the high-waist they are super low rise and therefore my scar shows. My husband says "what's the big deal, let the scar show it's small and faded and no one will notice" but I am self-conscious and would prefer to cover it. Any recommendations? Do you let your scar show? I'm afraid the sun would deepen the scar rather than let it continue to fade (only 2 years old).

I have a big scar on my face and I do show it

I would worry more about be in a good shape, wear bikini and rock it. Nobody will notice your scar, they will admire your figure.

Definitely not. You are now someone’s mother. Soon enough, they will be embarrassed if you prance around nearly naked.

It’s called modesty.

This
It's embarrassing for teen boys to have mom in a bikini.

By your standard, half the people in Europe are terrible parents.

I don't wear bikinis anymore either but not because of my body. I just find that with young kids, they are constantly grabbing you, holding onto you, pulling my top up, down and all around when at the pool. If this is your first, I would be more concerned with getting a top that stays put. I can't tell you the number of times I have almost flashed the pool. That goes for bottoms too.

My first one was like that. It was revised during my second section, thankfully.
