| Co-working space. Look into it. Was a marriage saver for us. |
Totally. Pants are so overrated. |
This! Makes my life soooo much easier, plus since we have kids it really doesn't matter. It's not like back in the day before telework, we weren't home at the same time at night anyway. I just got home and he already has the grill fired up AND he went to Costco during lunch. |

I didn't have a WFH DH. I had a DH who started going into work later than me and coming home before me everyday (when he was 9-5 and I was 11a to 7p) and following me around as I was getting ready for work.
I did try to tell him I needed space. Or that I needed dinner ready when I got home if he was going to screw around on the internet for 5 hours before I got home. I was ignored. In fact, everything I said I needed, he ignored. |
| I totally get it. I work from home home fulltime and DH WFH when he is not traveling. I actually feel like my days are so much more productive when he's gone. Like others have mentioned, my DH use to take over the house and the give all of us dirty looks when we were tippy toeing around him to get to the kitchen, etc... drove me insane. I felt like he plunked himself down right in the middle of the house to keep an eye on us. Recently, he has moved to a spare room and is using it as an office. Things are working out much better except for the fact that his stuff is blown up all over the room. I honestly don't know how he ever gets anything done. I have my own office and that is a life saver. |
