+1 I love you. |
| I see men driving these all the time. They usually have kids. I consider this to be a family car. Maybe a DILF ride. |
| Still no Android Auto, so that’s a no buy for me! |
| I feel like BMW vehicles have had the same or similar design for ages. |
|
Why anyone would go to the (worthwhile) trouble of buying a bmw without a stick and rwd is beyond me. This x5 thing? It is for fools and the mentally deficient.
|
I see you want to play the thread smartass. Ok then, name one BMW available for sale in the united states (better yet, on a dealership lot) with a manual transmission. |
The only "real" BMW is BMW's first product, the R32...anything made after is for posers and badge whores: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_R32 The only mentally-deficient one here is the person who can't understand why a well-heeled family would buy a safe, spacious, and sporty SUV. |
Sorry to hijack, but I’m interested in the Ascent. Do you have one? Anyone have personal al experience? Also considering highlander or pilot. What else am I missing? |
I don't think you're going to get a ton of useful owner feedback beyond "I love my new car" as it just hit dealer lots. Assuming you want to keep it outside warranty get #1 Highlander or #2 Pilot. You'll get anecdotal "well my Subaru has lasted 10yrs with no major issues", but Subaru engines have a pretty long history of known defects. The Ascent has a turbocharged 4-cyl which is under much more stress in regular use and will not last as long as the V6 in the Highlander or Pilot. |
| Get the Audi Q7 instead. |
Too common. Even more common than BMWs. |
New one says “I’m a boring soccer mom”, old one says “I’m a boring soccer mom who can’t afford a new Q7”. |
| What about the dodge caravan? That’s a great family vehicle! |
But they're much fancier inside (virtual cockpit anyone) |
I hope everyone else agrees with you so they can sell it to me for cheaper! |
