All-new 2019 BMW X5 unveiled

My neighbor bought this car last year. This one looks pretty much the same to me.

Related: has anyone seen a man (and I'm not talking about the average 5'3" DC lawyer in skinny jeans) drive one of these?

I’m a man and I drive one in black. Have for years. On my second one.

You sound like the sort PP was speaking of.

German cars are not very reliable in the long term & the repairs are very, very costly.

Save yourself the head/heartache and opt for a Japanese car like the Honda CRV, the Toyota Rav-4 or the nice Subaru SUV.

Thanks OP. I’ve actually been considering one of these and will wait for the 19 model.

Yes, I know. But the drive in a Bmw is so much better than our Honda or Toyota (we own a Bmw sedan and a highlander).

I love Japanese cars, but the CRV and RAV4 are totally anemic with dead steering and in no way comparable to anything in the mid-size luxury SUV segment.

And everyone singing the praises of the Subaru Ascent realizes it's not even on dealer lots yet?

Well played. Is that based on the fact I own one and like one? I never said I’m a short skinny jeans wearing lawyer.

Meh. Warranty of 4/50,000. People dropping $60,000+ aren’t keeping this for much more than that.

I’m a 6’1” guy in DC proper who is considering ordering an X5, but the fact that I won’t have the seal of approval from sexually-frustrated MoCo soccer moms is having me reconsider.

I'm just sorry to see that there are so many idiots here who don't know what the word "gross" means.

Sorry you can't afford anything better than your Scooby Doo.
