Kendrick Lamar - help me understand this

This was not a publicity stunt and it's not anything new. He's touring and he's been doing the 'pull a fan up on stage' bit at several of his shows.

^^ It's just part of the show. When Ciara toured a few years ago she pulled a fan on stage at each show and gave that fan a lapdance. Same thing here, just something he is doing as part of his tour.

White teens should know they can't say the word. Parents, please talk to your children and teach them they should never ever be saying this word. NEVER! A white 13 year old called my 13 year old the N word. This should not happen, I blame the parents.

He wrote them, he invited her to sing them. Was this an intentional publicity stunt?

He invited another non-black fan to the stage before the girl. That guy managed to get through the song while skipping over that word. She could've, and should've, followed his lead.

Uh, kids these days all say the n-word. For better or worse, blacks have successfully reclaimed and normalized the word.

My kids had better not say it in front of me, and they don't. But I know better than to think they don't say it amongst themselves.
