| This was not a publicity stunt and it's not anything new. He's touring and he's been doing the 'pull a fan up on stage' bit at several of his shows. |
| ^^ It's just part of the show. When Ciara toured a few years ago she pulled a fan on stage at each show and gave that fan a lapdance. Same thing here, just something he is doing as part of his tour. |

Easy solution.
STOP streaming his video. STOP buying his music. You will see how quickly he will stop that crap. Because, it's hard to be proud when you are hungry. |
White person who listens to a lot of rap music here. If I'm singing along I just say "ninja" instead.

| Dick move. |
I love the people who are clearly not even fans deciding they've HAD ENOUGH of this uppity negro (oh, he's too proud for your tastes because he won't stand there and listen to a white kid shout the N word into a microphone on his stage? Tell me more about how much he needs to abase himself for your comfort) because of a teachable moment. Get over yourself. The man has a Pulitzer, I'm sure he'll still be ~proud~ even without your imaginary missing Spotify streams. |
NP. Fixed that for you. I don't disagree with your points though. |
Do you look black? Then you can say it. That is the truth in America. That's all that matters. |
Yup. And the guy's got a Pulitzer, even. |
So he should have made clear beforehand which people can rap the full lyrics and which people need to omit or substitute certain words. You can’t expect teenagers pulled onto a massive stage with little notice to have already figured this out. It’s a bit cruel to put her in that position. |
Substitute the word ninja. |
White teens should know they can't say the word. Parents, please talk to your children and teach them they should never ever be saying this word. NEVER! A white 13 year old called my 13 year old the N word. This should not happen, I blame the parents. |
He invited another non-black fan to the stage before the girl. That guy managed to get through the song while skipping over that word. She could've, and should've, followed his lead. If you're going to talk about the story, share the whole thing. |
Uh, kids these days all say the n-word. For better or worse, blacks have successfully reclaimed and normalized the word. My kids had better not say it in front of me, and they don't. But I know better than to think they don't say it amongst themselves. |
