Tuckahoe used to be the red-headed stepchild of NW. But not anymore.

Even if they get rid of Nottingham, Tuckahoe will still play second fiddle to Discovery. If Marcia had ever fallen from grace, Cindy would still have been cuter.

For those of us in the rest of Arlington all the schools in NW seem exactly the same except for the fact that Discovery has a slide that we always hear about.

And that would be the point. There was nothing wrong with Jan, she didn’t have quite the same gloss as her sisters but that was it. But instead of embracing who she was and being confident in that, she had to try to tear down the sister to who she felt inferior. Tuckahoe is a great school in its own right, and yet it’s parents have shown a bit of an inclination at every turn to try to tear down Nottingam, whether it’s actively arguing to the staff for why they should turn Nottingham option or even just slandering it’s parents here. And this kind of thing has gone on since long before this process, with Tuckahoe people taking gratuitous swipes at Nottingham people here and there.
