And she claimed--while sitting on a portable potty with her pants around her thighs--that she graduated high school at 16 and graduated from college. New PP here, but I think she is the worst WOMAN to ever appear on this show, simply because her treatment of Dr. Now was just so disrespectful and unforgivable. Insulting him, his character, completely overstepping her boundaries as his PATIENT, and then to have the audacity to not only fish for an apology from HIM, but couldn't even give him a phone call to let him know that she was dropping out of the program. And now she's threatening to sue him and begging for money to fund her lifestyle. She's worse than Lisa, nearly as bad as Steven Assante, but at least he was hopped up on drugs most of the time. What's her excuse? |
| Steven Assanti is a racist pig. No comparison. |
I know someone that got some sort of childcare certificate from a community college (not an Associated or Bachelors) but she tells people she went to college and has a college degree. So maybe something like that. And that's a big maybe. |

| Assanti is worse, I agree. Schenee, dang, almost feel sorry for her. It's not her fault Dr. Now isn't used to dealing with someone with her intelligement. She is VERY knowledged. |
|
Ok, which one of you donated another $5 to make her total $10?!
|
Omg, I can't with her
|
| Her FB page lists her various “schools” and “degrees.” |

This woman could be my sister. My sister weighs close to 400 pounds at 35. When we were kids our cousin molested her for which he is in jail. She was also a normal size child until the molestation started and out of nowhere she started gaining weight fast. The affects from sexual abuse can definitely last a lifetime.
I watched my sister make horrible decisions, especially with regards to men because she had no self esteem and was excited to get any male attention no matter how douchey those guys were. She’s married to a really nice guy and has two kids but she keeps getting heavier. I hate seeing her like hat, she hates being like that. It sucks. |
I don't have any ill regard about Schenee's weight, and food as a coping mechanism with having been molested - I can't imagine what that horror must have been like. But she was given such a gift to change her life here, and it was full of lies. Not challenges - not just dealing with the hardships - but outright lies. And accusations about Dr. Now. And flat out lies to the therapist. One of the people from two weeks ago, backtracked on her progress. And she called up Dr. Now on her own, and told him about it - that's someone who "hates being like that" but knows the struggle is hard, and is honest about it. It was so admirable! Schenee is a liar, manipulator, and abuses other people around her. 400lbs is light compared to her being 5'1" and 700+ lbs - which is the equivalent of an average height person being 900+ lbs. And she had the nerve to ask the Dr. "do you believe in god?" Like that matters one iota. |
| How do these people go to the bathroom? |
| I have a serious question about all these people on this show - how do they support themselves? None of them are able to work, yet they have to pay rent (move to Houston), pay for food, cable, etc. I'll admit none of them are living high on the hog - pardon the pun - but where do they get their money? |
My guess is disability? |
Oh, yes they are. Only one has been brave enough to mention it, but many of the subjects on this show make a living doing feeder porn. Zsalynn, one of the first subjects, met her husband as part of a BBW group where men who fetishize ultra obese women pay their way. When she started to lose weight, he lost interest and they divorced. Other than that, I'm sure many are also legitimately receiving disability payments. They may have done it to themselves, but being too fat to move from your bed is disabled, and the resulting health issues would make it hard to find a typical job. |
Some of the families have talked about making sacrifices (didn't the Assante dad say he'd taken out a 2nd mortgage?) And disability. But I assume the show covers a lot of the costs (surgery, therapy, gym) so they only have to pay their living expenses, just like they did back home. |
