Who will you support for Mayor in 2010?

ABF....anyone who believes he has done a good job is not paying attention. The negatives of this administration far out way any positives.

If she ran, I'd vote for Michelle Rhee in a heartbeat. Wishful thinking, I know.

Speaking of Michelle Rhee, is it true she's engaged to Kevin Johnson, the mayor of Sacramento? If so, my respect for her just plummeted. How can a smart and politically savvy woman like that so much as give the time of day to that room-temperature-IQ egomaniacal jock?

Really -- is he egomaniacal? Too bad. I thought that at least he had a brain compared to Sir Charles (who is very amusing but not a rocket scientist fer shur!).

For my money, Don Peebles is the better candidate. His platform is on inclusion and fiscal stability in the District. I like his stance on building business through fair markets and improving access to small business development.

I absolutely love his inclusive attitude on race and class; this city is clearly polarized along those line as I do believe was the design of Mr. Fenty. For this to be 2010 and there be a man of color in the White House who ran a campaign of inclusion, Mr. Fenty has done to opposite. I also think that Mr. Peebles respects and can garner the respect of the labor movement.

Those are just a few of the ideas that resonated with me about Mr. Peebles and the reason that I have called his office here in the District and spoken with his staff.
