Baby name Juliette (/Juliet): honest opinions please?

We loved Juliet and discussed it but we did not like the Shakespearean connotation. Julie and Julia made our finalist list instead.

We ended up with a boy (I still love Julia though even though it wasn't our final girl name)

I have a 3 year old Juliette. We haven't met another one yet and get lots of compliments!

Prefer Juliet to Juliette. Prefer Julia and Julie to both.

Don't be so hard on Bitsy, PP ... she's working through childhood issues

And for the record, I LOVE the name, OP!

I really like it. I’ve noticed an uptick in Julia/Julianna among my circle(s), but I think there’s only one Juliet.

It is SOOO not white trashy. White trashy names are like Madison, Caden, Brayden, Riley, Kylee, etc. Juliette/Juliet is classic, feminine, literary, vintage.

White trash names are like the made up type names like Jaden or Piper.

Is there some statute within the DCUM bylaws mandating that every thread about a girls' name other than Caroline or Elizabeth must have at least one poster who chimes with the assertion that the name in question is trashy?
