I've met with her twice.

Did you complain to her about the tax bill?

But since you insist on turning any townhall into a clown show, there's no reason for her to have one just to give you a forum to harass her.

Anyone who wants to meet with her is able to schedule an appointment with her office and go and speak to her there. If you were really interested in speaking with her, that's what you would do. Because that's exactly how I've meet with her.

But you don't want that. You want to make a scene, record it, edit it selectively, and put it on the web.

She hasn't had a public town hall since Trump was elected.
Has she ever had one?

That's nice and all, but it sounds like you are a friendly. Of course she will meet with you.

Talk to my neighbor who was told that the congresswoman was ill and then found out she went to a photo op instead.

Why? How rich and powerful are you?

In a district like ours, it is absolutely outrageous that she won't hold public meetings. And it just shows what a coward she is to be afraid of being yelled at. Own your decisions and your votes, or you have no place being a representative of the people.

Chances are the tax bill won't have as dire effect on Loudoun residents as many on DCUM predict. I'm in the wait-and-see camp.

I'm a Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master and conservation advocate. Those are the capacities that I had my meetings with her about.

I'm not rich. I'm not connected to any lobby association.

I like Comstock. She displays great strength of character in the face of a very rude, immature opposition movement.

Excellent, PP! Who are some top contenders for the Democratic primary? I want to look at some records and volunteer for an anti-Comstock campaign too.

PSA: I’m in her district (gag). But she has one of the most flippable seats in the House. If you live in a District that is safe for Democrats, nothing is stopping you from donating or volunteering for an anti-Comstock Democrat.

Lindsey Davis Stover, Dan Helmer and Jennifer Wexton are probably the best candidates. http://www.10thcdvadems.org/

PS my daughter's pic is on Lindsey's site. Lindsey is good friends with one of my best friends, who met her through the Emerge program.

I read that Dorothy McAuliffe was thinking of running for that seat.

What specifically has she done to demonstrate that?

The tax bill is not going to be good for her district. The cap on SALT, changes to small businesses and the increase in taxes on high earners.

Well posed question.

Further, what is rude and immature about the movement?

Nice to see her interns are working the week between Christmas and New Years.

That was the rumor a long time ago, but she declared publicly that she isn't going to do so. Everyone who has filed to run is listed on http://www.10thcdvadems.org/.
