What to do when you get the silent treatment from someone close (not family).

Thanks so much for all your support. I am moving on and have not contacted her again, though I admit every time I get a text I hope it's her. My husband has asked me to go to the dinner party and I've agreed.

When someone gives you the silent treatment it means they no longer want to be friends or have anything to do with you. When they are no longer speaking or texting everyday like they usually do, it is very obvious you are no longer friends. See if she speaks to you at the dinner party other than a quick “Hi”

I don’t give anyone the silent treatment unless I consider the friendship over.

Get some new friends and move on.
