I loved the first few seasons of that show! ![]() They're both absolutely beautiful, and the contrast between the two was brilliant casting. |
What? More details please. |
Serena post-nose job.
Blair is very pretty and was actually the better actress. But she didn't keep herself in the press by dating the right people like Blake did. |
Serena is like every other basic blond.
Blair is really beautiful. |
I personally find Blake Lively more beautiful, but really, between these two, what does it mean? They're both gorgeous. |
Both gorgeous but Summer Roberts beats them both. |
All I will say is that the characters are very loosely based on them but enough so that they (and people who knew them back in the day) are aware of it. Neither is anything like their characters now. Both are nice, good people. Wealthy, yes but very down to earth. Each has a couple of kids and I will leave it at that. |
Why bother posting if you aren't giving up the details. Yawn. |
I think Blair is prettier if you take away the hair. |
+1 that contributes nothing |
They're both attractive in different ways. Blair, as others have stated, is more understood in her looks, classier. Serena is the girl next door.
I will say that Serena always looked much older than the other GG teen characters. I also didn't really buy her as an aristocratic, UES girl, looks-wise. The actress playing Blair was much better cast, looks-wise, for that type of role. |
Yes absolutely. Her mannerisms and the way she talked was really did not resemble the way old money UES people carry themselves. Chuck Bass also had his problem where he tried to act old money but looked like a cartoon. The actress who played Lily did a pretty good job in the role of a troubled old money socialite. |
+100 Blake would have been AMAZING as a cheerleader at a TN private school, with a football player BF and a family that owns the town. That sort of role, like Lyla Garrity on FNL Lily's mom was very well cast, IMO. Blair's mom did well too. Chuck ... I liked Chuck, but I would agree with you there. Ed's a good actor but the performance / character was a little over the top. |
Yes. Blake Lively played Serena with that lazy party girl drawl where she mumbles her words. She also walks around so ungracefully. She should’ve trained more for this role. |
For real! |
