One of the winners was the guy whose TV anchor fiancée got shot on live television. He ran on a pro-gun sense platform and unseated a Republican incumbent. God bless America!

Looking at results ... I also see 13 Delegate seats flipping R->D.

A few seats are close but with suburban/urban absentee voters not coming in those lean D in my opinion. A few have conservative counties yet to return results.

6 seats remain in the air. All are held by R's.
27: R+138 with only Chesterfield absentees remaining. This one will be a recount. I think it will stay R by under 100.
40: MAJORITY LEADER Tim Hugo is in the fight of his life here. D+125 with Fairfax/Prince William absentees remaining. I think this one may yet "D gain"
68: D+453 with Chesterfield and Henrico absentees remaining. This one looks like a "D gain"
84: D+100 with VA Beach absentee/provisionals remaining. I think it will be a "R hold" by under 100.
85: D+446 with VA Beach absentee remaining. I think it will be a "D gain"
94: R+12 with Provisionals in Newport News remaining. !!! within single digits either way I think the R will barely hold on.

VA Dems will gain 16 seats. 50-50 split is a real possibility!! 84 and 94 will be razor sharp and all lawyers will be here to make things happen.

This is DOUBLE what McAuliffe won by in 2013.

Marshall wiped out. Hugo defeated. No worse than 53-47 in the House of Delegates.

Oh, just so folks know in the future: VA treats all absentee/provisional ballots in a county as a single "precinct." If there are multiple congressional districts, then there's 2 or 3 "precincts."

There are maybe 15-20 non-absentee precincts left to report.
