Manafort, Papadopoulos, Gates down - who's next?

Anonymous
Flynn has obviously taken the proactive cooperator route.

None of these people are famous, period. This is all Beltway nerd manufactured hysteria.

Especially the guy who pled guilty. He is a no-name that no one in the campaign really knew it was just a volunteer. No one knows or cares about these people but if you care about is the economy and that is doing very well thanks to trump

"Just a volunteer"! You people crack me up.

Jared is also just a volunteer.

So is Trump himself, remember? He's donating all his salary?

I agree - I think he'll sing like a bird to get back to his fancy house ASAP. But who will he take down with him?

Manafort is as venal as Trump. He will spill his guts if it keeps him out of jail. And he knows that he can't rely on Trump to pardon him. Trump will throw Manafort and anyone else under the bus to save his own ass.

But does he have the goods on Trump? IIRC, at issue, so far, anyways, is his work for Yanukovych, nothing that involves Trump.

It seems like if anyone would have the goods on Trump, Manafort would. If he doesn't have them, then Trump might really just be craven and horrible and greedy and dumb and impulsive and corrupt but not treasonous on top of that.

One thing billionaires (and CEOs, etc.) are very, very good at is getting subordinates to do the crimes while they themselves (the billionaires) appear above it all. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump had a history of this sort of behavior.

Trump is draining the swamp and doing it very well. Can you imagine anything like this during Obama era?

However, don't discount Podesta's connections. Just read that Uranium One was one of their clients. That certainly goes back a few years--but, then, so do Manafort's charges.

The Podesta connection could explain why HRC, et.al. were so happy to approve.

Hillary didn't have much, if anything t do with the approval of the sale of a Canadian company to Russian interests, but I agree that Tony Podesta could be a low level target of the investigation.

Manaforts crimes will also be filed in NY, sp Trump won't be able to pardon him.

Long been rumored that t-rump laundered money and Manafort indicted for money laundering.

The investigation will wrap up pretty soon. There is no collusion. The fact is on the president’s side.

It’s kind of pathetic all Mueller got was stuff happened before 2014. Only one conviction for FARA since 1966. I am sure Manafort will have no problem turning on Trump if Mueller let’s him walk, which he will. The problem is he has nothing on Trump because the collusion didn’t happen.

She approved the sale of uranium to them--Russia. Her husband accepted $500K for a speech in Russia during the consideration period. Her campaign manager worked for the same group that represented them. No connection?

But the Russians did not get the uranium- fatal flaw there. Oh, and she is not the one who approved it. A group of other people did. Wow, what a compelling tale.
