Just as I started to pull out, a kid was running across the main street to the car. Why the jerk was too lazy to get out of his car and help the kid cross...or pull over on the other side of the street to pick up his kid. Instead he told his kid it was ok to cross while sitting in his car. Then he screamed at me like I was in the wrong.

You were in the wrong. You pulled around a car at a stop sign? And then nearly ran down a pedestrian?

Sorry...not wrong. The guy was not stopped at the stop sign. He was pulled over next to the stop sign. Illegally parked, so to speak.

Now you are changing the facts that you stated earlier. I don't care how you phrase it, if you pull out from a stop sign and run over a kid crossing the street, it's nobody's fault but your own.

So, you are saying it's ok that a dad is too lazy to pull his car to the other side of the street or at least get out of the car and help him cross the street? It was a very dangerous situation he put that kid in. The driver who passed the car didn't hit the kid...so she is not at fault for anything.

The truth is that I am rarely driving the time that school buses operate or in an area in which they operate. When driving on the other side of the street I am just not looking out for it. Now I think I might finally be there. I lived in the city for 10 plus years and only now that I pick up my DD at school and am off early on occlusion am I ever driving during those bus hours. I am not a bad driver - always looking out for pedestrians and never in an accident. Sometimes you have to just thank your lucky stars that nothing happened.
2-3 times in ah

Um...yes you are a bad driver! You've just never been caught. You've driven through a school bus stop sign 2-3 times in the last year?? You are darn lucky - I mean, the kids are darn lucky - that you have not hit anyone. IT IS NOT HARD TO SEE A BIG YELLOW SCHOOL BUS WITH A STOP SIGN AND FLASHING LIGHTS! No excuse.
