Help me feel less guilty about filing for child support.

How can you feel less guilty? By realizing that his “getting upset” is an abusive intimidation tactic designed to make you back off from asking for what your child is legally entitled to from a parent.

Non-abusive parents don’t get upset by paying child support.

Domestic abuse is not only physical violence toward a spouse. Refusal to pay required child support or getting angry about it is a form of economic coercive control.

Why would you feel guilty? Tough if he's upset.
