OK, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of drugs at UVA if they think they are on the same level as Harvard. THAT'S FUNNY!

I don't usually choose a good school by what is written in a periodical, as people around here seem to do.

Perhaps because the people who annoyed you aren't reading this. No one else, no matter where they attended college can know why they behaved badly. As mentioned by another poster, not all UVA alumni are rude at concerts, just like not all those that live in a certain area share a trait or all those of any race are exactly alike.

Look, I didn't go to UVA and won't defend it one way or the other, as I really don't have strong opinions of it, but I will try to answer your question:

Wolftrap is in VA. Many people from VA hang out at places in VA. Also people who went to UVA either moved back to the area or got jobs in a nearby city, so it stands to reason that many people who went to UVA are living in N VA and attending events at Wolftrap.

Thousands of people go to UVA, every year, and therefore tens of thousands of people go through there in a decade: it stands to reason that many of them are obnoxious, since in the general population there are many obnoxious people. So statistically there will be many obnoxious people from UVA, just as there would be in any subpopulation of tens of thousands of people.

I don't understand what other answer you are expecting:

That everyone from UVA sucks? That most people from UVA suck? That people from UVA are tracking your Wolftrap ticket purchases and then following you there to harass you?

What else could it be? Do you have theories of your own you could share? Maybe we could then get to the bottom of this conundrum.

I'm actually related to the Filene's who built Wolf Trap, and still wondering - why do UVA people say "because it is Wolf Trap". Is that some excuse for their lame behavior? Maybe Wolf Trap policies need to be changed.

You're still not getting it. The person said "because we know it's Wolftrap" because you spelled it wrong. You don't get it?

I changed my spelling thinking you (meaning respondant) spelled it the other way. I would think that I am not the only one who types fast and sometimes incurs typos. It's amazing how no one wants to answer this question, which leads me to believe policy changes are in order. Thanks for the heads up.
