DW plays Pokémon Go instead of holding hands when we walk

OP sorry you are being given a hard time. It really isn't spending time with your wife if she is playing a video game on her phone. If this was a woman complaining her husband plays Pokemon the whole time they go on walks people would be calling him an immature asshole.

You need to talk to your wife about video game free times. You can't have a conversation, enjoy each other's company or hold hands if she is on her phone. Most people recognize that as rude to an interpersonal interaction.

Her pokeman walks should be distinct from time with you.

Then he would be complaining that instead of sitting next to him on the couch holding hands, she's out on her own walk playing Pokémon. Get a grip people. It's not a cocaine addiction. It's fun for her and the best way to play is by walking. He needs to relent on the "I don't want her to play on our walks" and maybe she'll pay him more attention at home or other times. This really is not a bad thing.

Is your wife 8 years old?

Needing to hold hands the entire time seems strangely guarded or overly protective. Just my opinion

Just put your arm around her waist! She can catch 'em all and you can walk together!
