Another vote for Fairview.
You might like it particularly because the gifted programs (what they call "Advanced Academic Placement" or AAP) begin in 3rd grade and they have teachers solely dedicated to that program so the gifted kids are together and not spread out in different classes. That was something I assumed all schools do but they don't. Also if a child tests into a high enough level of gifted, you can opt to send them to a school specifically for "very gifted" kids, what a PP called "centers schools." The geographical area is pretty big for Fairview so you'll find a wide range of homes to choose from. |
