We're at one of the most competitive Div. 1 pools. While I wish it were more laid back, it's our neighborhood pool and we aren't going to start over on a long wait list to move to a pool we can't walk to. My kids will never be Saturday swimmers unless I enroll them in the serious year-round programs and do weekly private lessons. It's just not that big of a deal to us. Our team size is huge and there will always be large crowds.
