SIL is always ridiculous

How did your husband feel about his sister hijacking the trip you planned? Does your MIL always favor her daughter? I'm sorry that happened. I hope your family is able to spend more time with FIL. It seems you may not be able to control how that is done though.

It's extremely frustrating. We went to their house day before yesterday because FIL had asked for DH's help lifting things for him. We get there and SIL's car is in the driveway and they're gone. They went to a family member's house. Yes, MIL babies SIL like you would not believe.

MIL is the problem here and it sounds like you know it. Well, when her husband dies, let SIL do all her heavy lifting and make sure DH doesn't bend over backward for her.

I swear we have the same SIL and enabling MIL.
