I had something slightly different happen. My period was a day late so I took a test and it was BFN. Later that day I got what I assumed was my period. 3 days of medium bleeding which was normal for me. I had just started seeing an RE so they brought me in on day 10 for a scan and realized my lining was really thick and there were no follicles maturing, so they did a beta just to check. Sure enough it was very positive.

It was negative! I'm a little disappointed. Deep down I thought I was pregnant. Now I'm very concerned for my growing stomach, nausea, etc. My OBGYN wants me to come in for a scan, but they have no availability until Mid July. She put me at the top of the cancellation list.

Sounds like you are having a missed miscarriage. Can your OB write you a script to a radiology place for an ultrasound?

OP i don't want to scare you but ovarian cancer can produce some of these sumtpotms. you need to go to the doctor NOW. if your ob can't take you (what kind of crap doctor is this??) go wherever they have ultrasound.

Ack, OP, I agree that you should get this checked out sooner than July. I'd call your doctor back and/or go to the ER for an ultrasound.

Is it possible any of this could be psychosomatic? I'm NOT calling you crazy, I went through something similar when I was trying to get pregnant years ago...I was so convinced I was (and really wanted to be), and I really felt I WAS experiencing symptoms. It was crazy.

How long have you been off of birth control?

I had a huge ovarian cyst, big and fluid filled. The doctors confirmed I was presenting as 3 months pregnant. Also messed with my periods, I would go as long as 5-6 months with no bleeding.

OP. These are also classic symptoms of ovarian cancer. Seriously. If they don't have an appointment until July, I would go to the ER.
