Actually, in DC the prosecutors from the US Attorneys office bargain over how long sex offenders will be on the list. In the case of the molester at Oyster, he'll only be on the sex offender registry for 10 years. He was only in jail for 2.5 years total. After the 10 years run, there will be no notice to his neighbors or others about what he did. He was young, in his 20s at the time of sentencing, so by the time he's in his late 30s he'll be living life just like the rest of us. Total BS. He got that deal with a public defender working on his behalf. Just imagine how much less time he'd have gotten with a high dollar defense attorney like the LAMB teacher has. |
| Is the molester from Oyster already out of prison?? How do you know? |
He was in his 30s actually, he just looked young for his age. |
Nope. It was Duke Lacrosse redux. She agreed to sex them up and then had regrets afterwards.
The problem here is that is leads us all to be more cynical and distrusting of real victims. She wanted to flirt and have sex, and then was immediately sorry because it made her reputation into that of a wh*re. Now, real victims won't be believed. Because of her. |
Have you read "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller? I did in 9th grade. To you, accusations = convictions. Due process = miasma. |
Not PP, he was arrested in May 2015, but I heard that he is already out. |
