I use it sometimes. I also use "-esque" and "adjacent", just to be goofy. Normally I'm kind of a stickler for proper grammar, but sometimes in actual conversations with real people, something more slang-y and casual seems to fit.

I'm 18:50 from yesterday, and I used it today in honor of OP. Someone asked me if my dress was new, and I said "Newish, yes."

LOL is what I am listening lot now-a-days. I think people are obsessed with the word, send them funny message they reply with LOL, it kind of irritates me.
