I'm sure that it wasn't planned at all. The class being moved to WR is full of unhappy people who have younger kids who will still be at SD. I'm guessing she said it in the moment to make them feel better that it may only be one year... and now here they are

I am the poster that suggested it was the conversation with the SD classroom and I was not suggesting that they told that class about a move to a new building. I was suggesting that the poster who mentioned the announcement to the class may have been confused about the topic of that meeting - the move of one class from SD to MO - not about a new building for the whole school. I don't buy that some announcement was made about a new building because that would have made it to the family list serve.

That is possible but I don't buy that this kind of news wouldn't have made it any further than this class to the whole school from a participant and only be shared on this forum. I think it would have made it to the family list serve. But I certainly could be wrong.

You are wrong. Are you new at LAMB? People don't discuss this stuff on the listserve (especially because it is monitored by the Admin). Parents at the meeting that heard about the rumor asked specific questions related to the potential consolidation.
