| I use Tolerant brand pasta and really like it. Follow the cooking directions carefully or things can go wrong quickly. I use a recipe I adapted from a NYTimes recipe. I mix the pasta with a homemade marinara sauce, sautéed garlic, onions, chicken sausage, spinach, capers and 2 tablespoons of melted butter. My husband didn't actually know it wasn't real pasta until I fessed up. I've heard the Bonza chickpea pasta is tasty too but it has added gums and fillers which is something I stay away from. |
I have five auto immune diseases, so I have to look at options like red lentil pasta if I want to eat pasta… some of us don’t feel like we have a choice if we want to feel better by what we eat. |
