Is Pacey a real name? ( I can't seem to find a source outside of Dawson's Creek)

You are wrong and need to re-watch Dawson's Creek. He was hot...Dawson, on the other hand, was not even cute much less hot. Go ahead and use the name. Pacey is one of the best characters ever, even if that's not what the writers intended...

I have a neighbor whose son's name is Pacey. He loathes the name and prefers to be called by his middle name. The parents are jackasses. so that colors my dislike of the name.

Our friends named their son Pace (Pacey as nickname) and I love it. People saying "don't do this to your child" - really?? Kids are currently being named Indigo, Slater, Bowen, and Gertrude (all names of kids in my area), so I'd say go for whatever sounds good to you and works with your surname. We are no longer in the Jennifer or Adam era of child naming!

The parent of a Pacey definitely has a halo engagement ring and a LOT of chevron print in their house. Dis you also get a kate spade bag for Christmas? (Or maybe Michael Kors from the outlet?) Lol, naming your kid from a tv show is very, very much a class indicator.

The Paceys lived down the street from us when I was a kid. Pacey is a last name.

I like it for a first name, OP. Plus I don’t think Dawson’s Creek is going to be a show that our kids will know - it just doesn’t have legs to span a generation.
